Willys Mackinaw Coat – Khaki

$ 84.90

Modeled after the first model of the WWII U.S. Army Mackinaw Jeep Coat (Olive Drab Mackinaw Coat Specification 6-104A). Commonly called “Jeep Coat” by soldiers, was first adopted in 1938. This jeep coat was widely used on the European front, especially in the battle of the Bulge during the winter of 1944-1945. It is positively the warmest, most comfortable garment made. The shawl collar does not flap in the wind, and the double-breasted placket and waist belt are designed to enhance wind resistance. This Willys Mackinaw Coat has 100% cotton-twill weave for the shell and is lined with polar fleece as a change to wool. Its classic design and timeless silhouette have endured through the generations. Double-breasted style, shawl collar, belted waist. What’s not to like?
